You choose the folder whose content is to be saved then the folder in which you want to save this content. The backup is of the incremental type: only files which do not exist in the 'destimation' folder or which are more recent than those in the 'destination' folder are copied. It is possible to limit the content to be saved to certain names and / or certain file extensions.
The main features are:
- Verification: simulates the backup.
- Backup: performs the backup.
- Undo backup: the 'To:' folder is restored to its state before backup.
This software uses in the background the application Microsoft Robocopy. The display language of Windows must be French (France) or English (United Kingdom).
- Required configuration
. OS: Windows 10 (32/64-bit). Can work with earlier Windows versions as long as the following conditions apply.
. Microsoft Robocopy present on the post.
. Windows display language: French or English.
. Disk space: less than 5Mo.
Hexamine

Utility to compare and update any type of file (max size 2GB), regardless of the extension.
Features: update (in hexadecimal), comparison of two files, search for strings (in hexadecimal or text).

Chronologic

This utility adds the 'last modified' timestamp to the name of a file. This allows file names to be sorted in chronological order.
Example of use: during an event, several photos were taken by different devices. The file names are different from one device to another. Group all the files in a folder, select all (Ctrl + a), open the context menu (right click), click on 'Send to ...' and then on 'Chronologic'. All photos will have their file names sorted in chronological order.
- Required configuration
. OS: Windows 10 (32/64-bit). Can work with earlier Windows versions.
. Disk space: less than 1MB.
- Installation
. click on the link above to download the .zip file and open the file,
. copy the .exe file in a dedicated directory,
. analyze the .exe file with your favorite antivirus or directly on the site VirusTotal (analysis by several dozen antivirus programs),
. if you are not convinced that the software is free of any viruses, worms, trojans and other types of malware, complete this procedure by deleting the .exe and .zip files.
. otherwise:
. run the .exe file from the dedicated directory,
Note: If Windows SmartScreen prevents booting, click on 'Additional Information' and then on 'Run anyway'.
. the application is installed, opens, and a shortcut is created on the desktop,
. the .zip file can be deleted.
- Use once the application is installed
. in the file manager, select one or more files, open the context menu (right click), click on 'Send to ...' and then on 'Chronologic'.
. to access the application menu, click on the desktop shortcut.
- New versions
. if an Internet connection is available, any new version is installed automatically when the application is launched.
. in some rare cases, certain types of new versions may not install automatically and it is necessary to re-execute the installation procedure above.
- Uninstall
. click on "?" in the application menu then on "Uninstall...".
. click on the link above to download the .zip file and open the file,
